Sarjan Group established “Sarjan Charity Foundation”, to touch the lives of the underprivileged and make a difference to the society. All these years, SCF have put together a large amount of effort to support the needy by organizing charity events, such as distributing meal boxes to homeless people, donating medical equipment to hospital, providing libraries, helping the developmentally challenged children in Hong Kong, jointly organizing blood donation camps and providing disaster relief support etc.

During the past 8 years, more than 1.3M patients have benefitted through SCF’s efforts. About 33000 major surgeries have been conducted by our charity partners with support of equipments donated by us in India. SCF has organized  “Artificial Limb Fitment Camps” which are free of cost and the Foundation efforts are solely to see the satisfaction on the faces of the disabled people who strive to lead a normal and independent life. So far more than 1000 people have been benefitted with 3 camps held. 

**Recently, the Y4D Foundation team, on behalf of the SCF, invited Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis to the annual event “Sarjan Annual Award Function 2019 & Charity Night” and briefed Hon. Chief Minister and Hon. Chief Secretary Ajoy Mehta about SCF’s ambitious “Book for Purpose” initiative under which 250 libraries will be opened for most needy students. The Hon. Chief Minister appreciated Sarjan group efforts in elevating lives of underprivileged sections of society and promised all the support of the state government for social initiatives of Sarjan Group. The team officially launched “Book 4 Purpose” initiative by gifting book to Hon. Chief Minister and Hon. Chief Secretary.

Aiming to attract school-going children from rural areas to the books, SCF in association with Y4D Foundation have opened libraries in Mamasaheb Mohal Vidyalaya, Shere, and New English School, Kolwan, Mulshi in Pune district. SCF and Y4D Foundation have a strong belief that youth can be empowered by reading various books and can do the analysis of his or her potential and can plan a blueprint of future or career according to their interest and dreams. Students and schoolteachers were very happy to receive sets of Edu Infotainment library for their school.

The Group’s next initiative will be education and scholarship program for children in rural India, which will be implemented through the active association of Y4D in India.
