Welcome to Sarjan

Sarjan means “Creation” in Sanskrit Language.

Sarjan Group was established in the year 2005 by 9 members as a sports group involved in cricket and later expanded its events to accommodate other sports like volleyball, badminton and bowling. Currently our event calendar consists of events in varied fields such as Social, recreational, Business, Charity, and Cultural. We are a Non-Profit Society registered under Societies Ordinance of Hong Kong SAR.

Currently there are 350+ active members in the group, which makes it one of the biggest Indian Social group in Hong Kong.

Sarjan Group is well connected at various levels of governmental and trade bodies, along with Diamond and Jewellery Associations. In the past, many prominent bureaucrats have graced Sarjan event, such as the president of legislative council, Chief of immigration, Secretary for Security of Hong Kong.

Sarjan group is also in touch with various Indian Government departments. Sarjan is Fortunate to receive encouragement letters from Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi. Sarjan Annual Award Functions are graced by many famous personalities, sportspersons and celebrities. Sportsperson Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, VVS Laxman, Harbhajan Singh and Deepa Malik. Film Celebrities Govinda, Vidyut Jamwal, Malaika Aurora, Krishna Abhishek and many more. Famous personalities such as M.G. Gagan Deep Bakshi including many members of Parliament, India have attended our events and shared their experiences. Sarjan has provided a platform for its members and guests to socialize with each other. This community has grown enormously and is organizing more activities to accommodate different areas of leisure and business activities. Our flagship event, Sarjan Annual Award Function (SAAF), is the celebration of hard-work and endless contribution to the organization and to the society at large. Awards are presented for wide ranges of activities, from humanitarian works to sports. Sarjan Group established “Sarjan Charity Foundation”, to touch the lives of the underprivileged and make a difference to the society. All these years, we have put together a large amount of effort to support the needy by organizing charity events, such as distributing meal boxes to homeless people, donating medical equipment to hospital and jointly organizing blood donation camps and providing disaster relief support etc. In the past Years Sarjan has executed various projects including “Book for Purpose” to provide curriculum books to underprivileged, Fund raising for family of Indian Martyrs killed in terrorist attacks. Sarjan has also contributed to “Namami Gange Fund”, we have also tied up with Y4D Organisation to build numerous libraries in rural India. Sarjan has also donated more ha 1000 Jaipur foot, “coffee corner” to Hong Chi Morning Hope School.
